Hi,

I was hoping to breed my califorina kingsnake for the first time. I havent got the male yet because I wanted to do my homework before I got into something I shouldnt. Anyways my female is about 2 feet, not quite sure about the age, the male that I wanted to get is about a foot. Once again I'm not quite sure if thats possiable because hes so young. Another thing I was told the "female" I got was a "female" but I'm not quite sure is there anyway I could feel?

Hello, the king you have now sounds like a yearling to me because i have a a yearling and he is around 2-3ft you should wait until the king snake is at least 2 and a half 3 years of age before considering to breed them my 2 adult kings bred last year and produced a lovely clutch of eggs and they are around 3 years old i hope this helped

Jake :)
